I-70 Auto Service opened in 1976, and we have been fixing Kansas City's cars, trucks and work vehicles from 3111 North Stadium Drive ever since. Over those decades the vehicles changed completely — carburetors gave way to fuel injection, fuel injection gave way to CAN-bus networks and high-voltage batteries — but the reason people keep coming back never did.

That reason is simple: we test before we tell you anything. Our AutoTechIQ certification holds us to documented standards for transparency and repair quality, which means every recommendation we make is backed by real measurements and evidence you can see, not a guess or an upsell script.

We're a full-service shop in the truest sense. The same building handles an oil change, a Cummins injector job, an RV pre-trip inspection, a lifted-truck regear, and a high-voltage service on a Tesla. That breadth exists because our customers asked for it — and because we'd rather learn a new system than send a long-time customer somewhere else.

Today we're a NAPA AutoCare Center backing every repair with a 3-year/36,000-mile nationwide warranty, we offer free shuttle service and free pickup and delivery, and we partner with Synchrony Financial via NAPA EasyPay so a big repair doesn't have to wreck a budget. Our technicians are ASE certified and trained across gas, diesel, hybrid and full-electric platforms. They work from factory service information and wiring diagrams with lab scopes, pressure testers, borescopes and factory-level scan tools — the same class of equipment a dealership uses, in a shop where you can actually talk to the person turning the wrench.
